OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT

 "Our Purpose Is to Obey

the Great Commandment and

Thereby Fulfill the Great Commission."

We believe that if we truly love God with all our hearts and our neighbors as ourselves evangelism will happen. Love produces action.

The Great Commandment  

"LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD with all your heart, soul, and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.        

In the second is like it:. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR as yourself. All the law and Prophets hang on these two commandments."  (Matthew 22: 36 -- 40)

The Great Commission

"GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and the son, and the Holy Spirit, and TEACHING THEM to do everything I have commanded you."  (Matthew 28:19, 20)

         Calvary community church seeks to bring believers to spiritual maturity and a personally fulfilling ministry which facilitates recovery for hurt, disillusioned Christians and provides love, hope, and life to the lost. Our services will be characterized by loving fellowship, authentic worship, and relevant Bible instruction.

          God's love will be expressed in tangible terms, first through focused, non-judgmental and supportive listening, and then by relevant, unselfish, and nonmanipulative ministry to those within each of our spheres of influence. As Ministry tasks develop within the body, they will network with other community ministries to build the kingdom of God in Missoula.
